Dr. Juliana Goh is Assistant Director and Site Leader at MITRE Asia Pacific Singapore (MAPS). In this role, Juliana engages with senior leaders in the Singapore Government, industry and academia, and shapes the strategic outcomes and manages day-to-day site operations of MITRE's first research and development facility outside the United States. She is responsible for a multi-year aviation research program sponsored by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and for expanding MITRE's relationships in both the public and private sectors in Singapore. As the MAPS facility is integral to MITRE's efforts in the Asia Pacific Region, Juliana also works with MITRE's Director of Asia Pacific operations to ensure harmonization in the delivery of outcomes for Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) in the region.
Juliana has over 10 years of experience in technical and program leadership in the aviation industry, delivering concepts, prototypes and strategic plans to ensure sponsor missions are supported. Beginning her career at Boeing Commercial Airplanes where she was involved in flight deck design, and research and product development for airplane applications, and joining The MITRE Corporation in 2010, Juliana has assumed both technical and managerial leadership roles, working on both domestic United States and international aviation initiatives in the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions. Juliana holds four United States patents and has presented at and published in aviation industry and academic conferences and publications.
Juliana holds a B. Soc. Sci. (Hons.) from the National University of Singapore and a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology/Human Factors from the University of Illinois.
